Objectives
Our objectives for COLDSTONE PROJECT is to create work for local villagers, uplift the human sprit with training and education on human rights, and becoming stewards or caretaker of our land, by planting trees at COLDSTONE RESORT. We strives on developing the unusable and barren land, restoring the dignity of villagers, and protecting the local deforested land, including conservation of the local faunas and floras native to the area.
Goals
Key to unlock poverty of the mind, body and sprit is like a “Journey of a thousand miles begins with one step,” Lao Tzu. The first step is for COLDSTONE PROJECT to be a model for Cambodian leaderships and people that with determination and resiliency. Second, is to make the commitment to put our communities and people first. Third key to achieving our objectives to create or restored lives and giving our people dignity. Through education, training and hands on work to build a strong relationship among leaderships and supporting team members.
Solutions
“ An ant on the move does more than a dozing ox,” Lao Tzu, COLDSTONE PROJECT continues build on the foundation in creating work. Our wok includes but is not limiting to planting trees, flowers and an organic vegetable garden for sustaining the lives of our workers and team members. We are innovative in maximizing the work with the least amount of funding, private funding from our founders, Voleak Srey and Chin Chanta. We came to a realization that in order for COLDSTONE PROJECT to truly achieve its goals and objective we need outside supports and fundings in order to sustain the Project of turning COLDSTONE into a Rustic resort in which it will make profit to maintain and sustain the project objectives.
About Us
COLDSTONE RESORT, Our Story began in 2018. COLDSTONE RESORT was founded based on our love for families, nature and health. Our mission and vision is to get families, friends, lovers of nature to replenish their body, mind and sprits in nature. Our mission is to provide jobs for local villagers, a center for learning and an ecotourism, focusing on sustainability and responsibility to build the human sprits within all of us. COLDSTONE RESORT, we strives to create a warm and inviting sprit, within our team members and our property.
Our goal is to maintain a natural environment, sustainable energy powered by solar and water wells, in addition to dike system, while protecting our local fauna and flora.
The FARM
For healthy body, mind and sprit, from our garden farm to our COLDSTONE KITCHEN, fresh fish and local chickens and enjoy fresh fruits and vegetables from our garden and from local farmers. At COLDSTONE RESORT, our speciality is serving authentic Khmer local cuisine, a twist of international fusion, and first in customer service. It’s not only fresh but sustainable because our food is made with KHMER PRIDE and served with, a Side of LOVE. Our food are what nature intended it to be, goodness from the land.
COFFEE BAR, offering hand poured coffee, tea, and mixed drinks served with fresh organic fruits juice and fresh smiles. Pick up some snacks with your hot or cold drinks and enjoy the surrounding views at our COLDSTONE SKYVIEW.
Bungalows, Suites or Tents
At COLDSTONE RESORT, we offered accommodations that meet your needs and family budgets. We have three bungalows with its own private bathroom, and spacious living space. It can accommodate a family or just wants to “camp out” inside with your girlfriends or guy friends. It’s a private way to be in nature without the noises.
Our Merry LODGE suites are private, spacious and comfortable up to four people. With our most comfortable king size beds, an additional Thai bedding can be accommodated when requested. Guests will use the “camper bathroom and shower” next to Merry’s LODGE.
Tents and hammock camping are available also for those who wants to one with nature and sleeping under the stars. We have numerous locations to choose from. Activities are welcomed and encouraged but you may not want to relax under a shaded tree and read, reflect and listen to your thoughts and nature. It’s back to the basics, but with comfort.
COLDSTONE KITCHEN & GRILL
Sharing food with family and friends has always been one of the greatest pleasures of life and, when combined with all the fun of sharing a meal in the open air, it’s become twice as enjoyable as having a great brewing cup of coffee like a Sunday morning.
